((OOC: Sorry, I'd completely forgotten I was in an active thread in here until I saw the posts this morning.))

Nuuko remains squatting next to the pool, listening intently as they're gathering chant from the bather. When Xianna addresses him, he shrugs his bony shoulders and replies, "don't know anything about this Elysium place. I'm up for it."

He pauses when Liam begins talking again and listens to the tiefling's offer, his in-born trader's instincts instantly flaring to life - especially since the offer seemed a little unbalanced in their favor. After a moment's consideration to recall whether he'd promised information to anyone else, the tall Prime nods his head. "The deal seems fair to me, if my companions have no objections," Nuuko turns his head slightly to see whether either of the Defiers had more to add.

The bariaur takes a long swig from his wineskin, belches loudly and then in an equally conspiratorial tone,

"Liam, I know better. What's free ain't free from a knight such as yourself but I'll take the bait. Always wanted to visit the restful plane. Principality you say, isn't that the place claimed by no power? One way portal too. Not too big an obstacle, plenty of branches of the tree and tribs of the river to travel out on. The Guardinals should have their paws full with the spider."

"What kind of 'souvenir' you looking for?"

Sirocco looks around at the others gathered around Liam and asks:

"So, who else is ready to go out of town?"

"Chant travels fast, that's what I say," Liam says evenly to the bariaur. He sidles back along the edge of the bath, rifling through the heap of his clothing hastily discarded there.

"In the Clerk's Ward, on Causeway Lane, the razorvine grows in a circle on a Taker pub called Heshter's Arms." Once he finishes rummaging in a belt pouch, he offers Xianna a burgundy-colored pouch that smells faintly of tea. "To key the gate, just whistle."

(OOC: Whoopsy! My bad! thanks to shadow, or Vaugn, or whoever the hell he is on this site for reminding me!)

Xianna seemed to be daydreaming as Liam prattled on. The nudge from Nuuko seemed to snap her back into reality. "Hmm, Oh, yes,.... thanks..." she says as she warily takes the pouch.
"Right, to uh,... the Clerk's Ward cutter," she says to Nuuko as she distractedly turns to go.

Looks like we are taking a ride out of town Nuuko. What's your friend's name? Xianna?

Hey, I know I barged into your wigwag with Liam but once I parked my ears on the chant he was laying down, I was hooked!

You mind having a little extra muscle on this trip? I know my way around and am pretty good in a dust up if you know what I mean.

One more to feed to the bebilith never hurt, Xianna replied with a flick of her tongue and a sly wink of the eye. With that, she spins on her heel and saunters off toward the Clerk's Ward.

Nuuko eyes the bariaur for a moment, sizing him up. It was the first the Prime had ever seen a bariaur up close. An interesting individual, with those four legs he might even be able to keep up with an Elf Run...for a little while. The private though causes a wry smile to cross his lips before settling back into the expressionless shape they usually hold. Nodding decisively, "I'd welcome the extra sword-arm...though I hope we don't need to confront the thing directly." The scout stands and follows behind Xianna, pausing for a moment at the weapon check to hang, sling or tuck away his plethora of tribal weapons and his most valued possession, the one piece of steel he owned.
