That there is one hell of a good question for sparking a little more discussion of Jonas' background. Since I've been narrating as if he's recently returned to Sigil from elsewhere, I'd say he's been part of faction-business-related trips before, working under others.
At this point he might be getting ready to organize his own work a little more. Might there be a fun destination he could "have in mind" already? Or maybe he has some contact who can point him somewhere?

Well, if you want some inside knowledge, the Dustman plot is headed for Elemental Fire -- if you feel like picking a random plane, though, go for it.

Picking a random plane wouldn't do for Jonas. And I'm not sure to what extent he'll end up following up on the Dustman plot, but buying a Fire key now is a little too much like metagaming. Is the Society's open house held over multiple days? Maybe I'll come back later.

It's a today-only thing. I'd like to use this as an excuse to get out as much info as possible so that players can use it later.
