(OOC: I'll just do some research on how to role play here better and then I shall return with a new and improved style of play before i post again) You might have better luck joining a scene in progress. I'm only able to post on a few days in a given week, and I don't always get to it, so I encourage players to roleplay with one another rather than wait on me. If you want a few examples of how play-by-post works, check out some of the other IC threads -- this one is a fine example, and the threads in the Blood Pit are good ones, too. Though it's an older example, this thread from the Lazz School of Vivid Unpleasantness is a great way to show how a player-initiated scene that's left open can turn into some interesting character interaction. I hope a "rough start" doesn't discourage you from joining in -- this week will mark the beginning of a grandiose plot arc, and I think any one of the characters you've got in the lineup would make a fantastic addition.
