No idea what to fill in for the combat section

Ah, I see now that I already had priest THAC0. Replacing combat bonus with "Know Faction".

Also, Skelter is getting set to use his combination cure/cause wounds. Next post will be me trying to get his spell list together.

However, not all of those are available in the 2e list.

From the 2e, let's say: All, Charm, Law, Healing? I admit I am a bit lost as to how much of various things I can take.

Not entirely sure how effective this will be, given that the action is so far from Loviatar's plane of influence....7 steps around the great ring!

Skelter won't have any spells on Elysium, but he'll still have his granted powers, so it'll still work. You can drain in the first round (2d6) and give HP in the second (up to 8), or do a half-strength version (1d6, transfer up to 4 HP) in a single round. It's got a speed of 3, any way it goes.

In general no spells, but how about with that portal open? It is still open, isn't it?

He is attempting to cast Strength of One on John. Or if that doesn't really make any sense (google won't tell me much about the spell) bless. Or maybe nothing happens at all!

I believe Strength of One requires everyone to join hands, and gives everyone the Strength score of the highest in the group (which would be John anyway).

Skelter is at full spellcasting ability on Gehenna, The Gray Waste, Baator, the Outlands, the Astral and the Prime. He's down one caster level on Acheron and Carceri, two levels on Mechanus, the Abyss and the Ethereal, three levels on Arcadia, Pandemonium, and all the Inner Planes, four levels on Mount Celestia and Limbo, five levels on Bytopia and Ysgard, six levels on Elysium and Arborea, and seven levels on the Beastlands. Being near an open portal doesn't do him any good, unfortunately -- he'll know that he's too far from Loviatar to feel her presence out here.
