*Lawful Neutral, True Neutral, Lawful Good or Neutral Evil.
*Sensate [conniseur, not a hedonist]; Godsman; Guvner or Fated. Chaotic Evil Xaositects or Doomguard?
*Some sort of Priest, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock or possibly a Paladin.
*Races: Genasi [air or water], Drow [as a Priestess, Sorceress or Warlock], Aasimar, Githyanki, Githzerai, Khaasta?, Nathri?
*Ideas for an Evil Sensate: Steals/drains memories and experiences, storing stolen experiences in sensory stones. Perfects pain and torture to an artform [does this for the "good" of others, not unlike a Mercykiller, and also because much can be learned from pain. Prefers slower methods of torture, of varying degrees. Favourite tools include knives, small amounts of acid. I'm thinking of something along the lines of the Mord-Sith from the Sword of Truth series as a possible archetype.] A priestess modelled around the archetype of Elizabeth Bathory [an evil sadist who lives a double life and tortures/bleeds young women for her own needs.]
*Ideas for a Neutral or Lawful Good Sensate: Chaste. Not driven by hedonistic desires. She more seeks sensations of an esoteric or spiritual nature [like moving a Tanar'ri to tears, the kiss of an Incubus [which are far rarer than a Succubus], capturing the first breath of a newborn Dragon hatchling, sampling the dew on the rarest flower of the Beastlands, or the embrace of a Solar to name a few.] The rarer the sensation and the greater the spiritual significance, the better.
*A neutral fated Priest of a Norse God [like Odin, Freyja or Thor]
*A neutral or Lawful Good Godsman Paladin or Druid [modelled around Joan of Arc?]
*Ysgardian Chaotic Evil or Neutral Evil Drow priestess [or Warlock], Fated.

Some intriguing things brewing here. I noticed the Doomguard reference... unfortunately, every one of our Doomguard PCs is Chaotic Evil, at the moment (though we're about to get a LE recruit). If you give further thought to the Sinkers, consider perhaps a good-aligned one.

Hmm. Good aligned Sinker. That depends: can Sinkers be Lawful Good? [from our discussion yesterday, I believe that's the only other good alignment option open to me... unless I change Wraith's alignment, which unfortunately would take the starch out of a solid concept [unless said alignment change happens IC.].] Briefly I thought about Xune Blackmantle, Wraith's twin sister... but I don't think you'd allow that because Xune is not only tiefling, but she's kin to my first character. *shrugs* Hmm. I'll do some reading, give it some more thought, and see what else I can come up with. Thanks for the advice. Btw. Do you know anything about the Mord-Sith from the Sword of Truth series? I don't remember much, but what I do remember is that they all started off as innocents, and were perverted with strict obedience enforced by the cruelest tortures imaginable. They've been trained to perfect torture to an artform, and typically try to bend or break others to their will. They're also obedient to their master. Plus they wield special rods, bonded to them through torture, which they use to break the will of others, though using these rods inflicts horrid pain upon themselves. I was thinking of this as a good base for a Drow Sensate [priestess of a God/Goddess of obedience and pain] who tortures others for several reasons: one of those being out of "love" or to show mercy through pain, enforcing a "greater good" by toughening others up with horrid suffering, if this makes any sense. Otherwise the historical/mythological archetypes of Queen Morrigan, Gaia, Aphrodite, Persephone, the Valkyries, Joan of Arc, Helen of Troy, The Madonna or Mary Magdalene, [to name a few that I can think of right now] might make interesting character bases.

Favoured idea [needs developing]: "tree-hugging" hippy type, Drow Godsman Priestess of Elistraee or Silvanus. Venerates trees/treants as opposed to animals or other deities. Considers trees /treants and other intelligent plant based life forms, and the Fey [faeries] to be a higher form of life. She may even have faerie bloodline. Lawful Good alignment. Stat preferences: Best stats in Wisdom and Dexterity, high Strength, average Constitution, above average Intelligence and Charisma? She's led a simplistic lifestyle in her homeland of Arborea, as an isolated hermit who spent a great deal of time amongst the trees, communing with nature, where she maintained a simple cottage up in the branches, linked by many rope and wooden bridges. She never had much inn the way of material wealth, nor did she have any use for it, instead surviving off the fruits of her beloved home. Likewise, because she lived such an isolated lifestyle, her knowledge has been somewhat limited, focused solely on what she knew about her home and her faith, nor did she learn much in the ways of social graces, so despite the fact that she has a gentle heart, a kind soul and a quick smile, she's shy and naive at first, but soon becomes vibrant and full of life. She saw a natural order in her home that she cherished, and so she would dance and frolick through the trees, mostly skyclad under the light of the full moon, in celebration of life and nature. But her simple lifestyle came crashing down around her when a Blood War incursion destroyed her forest and every living thing in it, burning it to the ground. She'd never been driven to rage before, having known nothing but peace, but righteous wrath soon swelled her being....

Hmm... I could see it working for another variety of elf, but Drow aren't tolerated in most places on Arborea, given the other subraces' dominance over much of the plane (and, since they're Chaotic, they shoot first and don't trouble themselves with asking questions).
Eilistraee's realm is Svartalfheim, a series of caverns inside a giant earthberg on the third layer of Ysgard. Unfortunately, that doesn't lend itself well to someone who likes their vegetables. I don't know if Drow is the race you want to go with if you're shooting for a tree-hugger; while the good-aligned ones aren't opportunist bastards of the same caliber as their evil cousins, they're often utilitarian and somewhat distant.

Hmm. Good point. In that case, if you'll allow it, I'll shoot for a Sylvan Elf [my favourite variety of surface elf anyway] or a Half-elf. Though I think Half-Elf would be better. [because the idea of "blissful stagnation" in Arvanaith for all eternity wouldn't quite fit with the core beliefs of the Godsmen]. Okay. I've thought of a name for her: Larenna Mac'Kayllen, and she'd be a Priestess of either Silvanus or Rillifane Ralathil [elven equivalent of Silvanus, I believe]. She's the youngest child of four, and her family was part of a nomadic tribe/clan of bards, gypsies, petitioners and the scattered Druid who acted as teachers and religious leaders. Age: 18. Height: 5ft 4". Weight: 106lbs. Hair colour: deep cherry red, like the color of sunset [waist-length, thick lustrous mane of waves and soft curls]. Eye colour: Clear cerulean blue, flecked with motes of gold. Born on the plane of Arborea, specifically the layer Olympus. She's swift and nimble, and after spending most of her young life amongst nomads and gypsies, she learned to love music and dancing, and to appreciate art in all it's forms, especially nature and trees. The trees that she feels she has the strongest affinity to are the Oak and the Willow. Typically Larenna wears simple loose-fitting, and flowing robes or shirts and long "hippy" skirts and occassionally trousers. Favoured colours include azure, aquamarine and cerulean blue; leaf, apple, emerald and forest green; yellow and gold. Naturally the Believer's colours, mixed in with predominant azure or sky blue gives this rather colourful young woman the appearance of a mobile sunset. She prefers silk, linen and cotton over other fabrics, since these are light and floaty.

Another character concept:
Chaotic Neutral Alu-fiend [abandoned the Bloodwar]. Bleak Cabal? Racial Class.
Attitude: Bit of a hedonist, maybe. Figures that life is pretty pointless, so why not go ahead and indulge yourself, because it doesn't matter in the end.
Appearance: Jagged cut scarlet hair, perfect pale features, wings inscribed with tattooes and runes, some "tribal" looking tattooes on her body, a few piercings, skin-tight spiked leather with blade-like protrusions on the shoulder-guards, elbow pads and over her fingers. Bone and steel head-dress, decorated with barbed wire. Prefers to fight barehanded [with her long fist spikes], but she will use two swords [or two whips?] if need be.

Name: Nephertiri Kalaratri Nem-Ankh, or simply "Nem-Ankh" [Or some other Egyptian and/or Vedic name.]
Race: Alu-fiend Alignment: CE Faction: Believers of the Source Deity: Bast Home Plane: The Abyss [Plain of Infinite Portals]
Age: 25 Hair Color: Scarlet Eye Color: Black [glows red] Height: 5ft, 11 inches. Weight: 142 lbs.
Attitude: Nem-Ankh's an unfettered hedonist. Pleasure and sensuality are the keys to Godhood. She believes that giving/receiving pleasure and freeing others of their own inhibitions is her personal way to ascencion. But ultimately she does this for herself and no one else. She has no regard for others, aside from what they can ultimately give her. and though Nem-Ankh won't go out of her way to hurt anybody [it runs counter to beliefs on achieving ascencion], she won't help them, or be there for them when they need her the most. She's very fond of jewelery, and making herself look good, so one of her chief vices is vanity, aside from lust. She's a bit like a feline: Sleek, sensual, graceful, self-absorbed, aloof, vain, and loves to be pampered. Naturally she relates mostly to felines, especially tigers and panthers. She is aware of her sensuality and her erotic power, so she will seek to use this to best advantage.
Appearance: Alluring and beautiful. Stylish jagged cut scarlet hair, perfect pale features, sleek, toned physique, wings inscribed with tattooes and runes, some "tribal" looking tattooes on her body, a few piercings [nose, navel, multiple ear piercings], seductive skin-tight spiked leather clothing/armor [consisting mostly of bodice/breastplate moulded to show off her body, tight trousers, gauntlets, shoulder and elbow guards] with blade-like protrusions on the shoulder-guards, elbow pads and over her fingers. Bone and steel spiky head-dress, decorated with barbed wire. Prefers to fight barehanded [with her long fist spikes], but she will use two swords [or two whips?] if need be. In addition to the faction symbol of the Godsmen, and the symbol of her Goddess, Nem-Ankh wears an Ankh tattooed over her left breast, and again over her navel [since this is close to her womb.].
History: Born and raised in the Abyss [plain of Infinite Portals, specifically the burg of Broken Reach]. Enlisted into the Bloodwar effort at 15, when she was physically mature. Abandoned the war-effort at 17, when all but a handful of her "fellow" half-breeds were slaughtered in the Outlands between Hopeless and Plague-Mort. Joined Yarmoril's Hounds in Plague-Mort, where she remained for 2-3 years. Eventually she got sick of the mindless bloodshed and brutality, realising that there was more to life than killing and hurting others... she could get more out of others simply by making them enjoy themselves, and cast aside their inhibitions. At 20, she travelled to the Cage, and joined the Godsmen. Now, five years later, aside from her regular daily duties in the Great Foundary, she's a masseuse, exotic dancer, escort and bath-house attendant for many of her fellow Godsmen, regardless of who and what they are [she doesn't care, so long as she can release their tension, and ease their cares and inhibitions, through healing massage, drug-use and meditation, to name a few... and obviously the more inhibited a basher is, the more she'll seek to expose him/her, to "liberate" them... for her own needs, of course.]

I have another fairly solid idea for a secondary character, who shares a common history with Nem-ankh, as her servant, protector and bodyguard.
Name: Ne'tahl Race: Githyanki Alignment: CE or NE Faction: The Doomguard Deity: Kali the Destroyer Home Plane: The Astral Class: Fighter/Cleric or unholy Paladin [if you allow evil equivalents]
Age: Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Black Height: Weight:
basic personality: xenophobic, elitist, reclusive, stubborn, taciturn, surly, suspicious of strangers
[incomplete concept]

Githyanki mostly regard gods as things to be worshipped by "lesser beings," so paladins are usually disallowed.
I'm thinking about creating a feat that gets around a race's restrictions (allowing one to create, say, lawful githzerai or evil aasimar). If you're particularly interested in this character concept, I can bump up the feat in my list of priorities.

Yeah, I would like to play this character, as I think it could develop into an interesting concept. ;D Do you have anything else in mind I could consider?

In terms of classes? Well, I'd like to see some of the uncommon ones come into play... in particular the Oriental-style classes (esp. Samurai and Ninja, though those aren't really githyanki-appropriate).
What we're hurting for the most right now is anybody with divine spellcasting ability, or some sort of godly backup. A cleric would be most preferable, followed by paladin and priest.
For factions, I think the game would do well to see a Guvner or Xaositect (someone with a particular drive in the law/chaos direction, anyway), as well as a Godsman or Bleaker.

If need be, I could play Nefertiri as a Godsman cleric or priest. [I'm curious, what's the difference between the two, anyway?] Or I could make up something entirely different, with Bleaker as a starting point, but I don't really have any ideas.

As I discussed with you earlier today, I'll test run the following four characters in freeform first, to not only keep my options open, but to also get a better handle of each, before I decide which one I like the most. Name: Sharna Race: Aasimar [Deva] Alignment: LN Faction: Fraternity of Order or Mercykillers Deity/S: Odin, Aegir, Baldur, Bragi, Frey, Freyja, Frigga, Heimdall, and Hel. Home Plane: Arcadia Class: fighter/priest of Odin, Aegir, Baldur, Bragi, Frey, Freyja, Frigga, Heimdall, and Hel. Age: 21 Hair Color: platinum blonde [softly curled and cropped short] Eye Color: crystal blue with silver-white highlights Gender: Female [androgynous] Height: 6ft 1" Weight: 154lbs Appearance: Sharna is androgynous. She strongly resembles her proud, noble Deva father, Judeus Ezekiel, unlike her voluptuous twin sister, Shiela, who looks more like their beautiful human mother. Her exquiste chiselled features are neither clearly defined as masculine or feminine, although technically she is female. She's tall and statuesque, perhaps a bit too brawny, broad-shouldered and physically hardened to be considered girlish. This has always been an issue for her, a secret enviousness of her sister, and all other beautiful young women, because although Sharna is attractive, she was often thought of as butch. She doesn't dress or act in the manner of a lady, she took up the sword arts at a very young age, and has been honing her body since then... indeed, she often thinks of herself as a man trapped inside a woman's body. This internal conflict of identity has perhaps been a source of her indecision over which deity to follow, in her search for Truth, Justice and Self. Personality Traits: History: ***** name: Fierra Shakkra [aka Fierra the Blade] Race: Fire Genasi Alignment: NE Faction: The Fated Deity: Loki Home Plane: Class: Fire Elementalist/Thief Age: Hair Color: Fiery red like the flames of Avernus, cropped short and spiked Eye Color: coal black Gender: Female Height: Weight: Appearance: Personality Traits: History: ***** name: Siobhan Race: Aasimar [half-eladrin] Alignment: CN Faction: Revolutionary League Deity: Home plane: Curst, the Outlands Class: Thief/Mage Age: 22 Hair Color: Sooty black, waist length. Usually bound in a long braid and coiled around her scalp, secured with pins and a delicate silver ferrionere Eye Color: onyx with scarlet highlights Gender: Female Height: Weight: Role-playing notes: Siobhan is a master of disguise ***** Name: Nickname/s: Quicksilver or Silver Race: human [predominantly Human, but she has a mixed bloodline. up to 2-3 minor bloodlines. Possible bloodlines of Janni, Werecreature, Doppleganger, Fey or Rakshasa.] Alignment: CN Faction/Sect: Convert Deity: Home Plane: Limbo Class: Fighter/Spellthief, Sorceror/Spellthief or Hexblade/Spellthief? Age: 17 Hair Color: changes depending on her whim, and the fashion trends at the time. Her hair is a natural white-blonde, so dyeing her hair weird and out-there colors has never been difficult for her. Currently her hair is pink with trademark silver streaks. Eye Color: grey, changes hue depending on her moods Gender: Female Height: Weight:
personality traits: effervescent, versatile, adaptable, flexible, changeable, mercurial, unpredictable, quick witted.
