What would you like your character to do in-game? (Note: these things are of a plot-based nature. Examples might include "I want my character to travel to the Inner Planes," "I want my character to attend a relative's funeral," "I want my character to be trapped in a life-or-death situation.")

I would like my character to continue being a mercenary bastard, and confront opponents both virtuous and foul with blade in hand and nasty comment on his lips.

New thought! Advancement duels. I had an idea for a possible opponent for john, too.
Now that I've read it over, the plot with Blackmantle's taker paramour foreclosing on her house would be brilliant for her to indirectly getting revenge by pitting john against him in an advancement duel, especially since John is a: a merciless bastard, and b: isn't friends with Wraith, but considers her a business associate. Also the irony of a Taker indirectly avenging what another taker did appeals to me. What do you think?

I'm intrigued. This is all going down while John is on Arborea, but depending on plans of action (and whether Marrak decides to skip town for a while), it's certainly a possibility. I'd say go ahead and PM Kate about it, see what she thinks of the idea.
I can't guarantee a win over Marrak, though -- he's one tough son of a bitch.

Certainly. But I didn't know whether it would still be ongoing until his return. I thought Wraith's recent request that they hit Acheron (And John's subsequent purchase of a sword for just such a place.), might be of some use there.

She hasn't said no, but I think she's amenable to it. She just needs to hire my character in-game to take him down and bring him to her. Probably with multiple dislocated joints. She's all not wanting to make him dead.
