Turning this into a thread, since it'll be nice to refer back to in the future.
A few clarifications:
The time required to scribe a scroll is a minimum of one day. Rather than the ridiculous equation, I've decided to go with a simple one day per two spell levels, rounded up (half of the 2e time requirement).
The scribing usually requires:
4th-level spells and up may have additional requirements beyond these (such as etching into beaten gold foil or drying the ink with mummy dust).
While the costs are a bit higher, the good news is that the "standard retail" of a casting scroll is (caster level x spell level x 100 GP), so sales will net Hadrian more than initially expected.
Profession (Merchant) would certainly aid his selling and haggling skills, but anybody can sell something if they've got a mind to.
XP updates are the next thing I'll be working on once I've caught up on posts. Expect to be a good piece of the way to 7th, if not already there.
I apologize for not bringing this stuff up during the first reply -- I just wanted to get back to you quickly without leaving you hanging like I often do. I've updated the feat description to reflect what I've brought up here.
This process will end up costing 100 experience altogether. Considering that Hadrian has other obligations, 5 days of crafting is a very low estimate. Similarily 5 days worth of trips to the Bazaar might be wishful thinking. I'd anticipate all things being considered that the whole concept will take upwards of three weeks of dilligent effort to pull off if not a month. I'm not sure if you want to incorporate any aspect of dice rolling into this?
On a related note, since I'm now leveraging experience points for money, have you tallied what Hadrian's current standing is recently?

The scribing usually requires:
- Access to an alchemical or research laboratory, or some other facility with appropriate resources for blending/brewing ink and otherwise remaining undisturbed (rentable at many schools of magecraft for 1 GP per day)
- A quill made from some rare material (a phoenix feather, a dretch's finger bone, an iron stylus forged in the fires of the Dwarven Mountain, et cetera)
- Paper, parchment, papyrus, or some other medium on which to write the scroll (covered in the base expense)
- Ink and appropriate rare reagents to write with (covered in the base expense)
