Just a heads up that I'll be out of town for a wedding this weekend. Doubtful I'll be posting from Friday to Sunday.

It was a long week, with 12+ hour shifts and little time to do anything but work and sleep. Sorry for delays.
Edit: not enough time to post before work today. Hopefully I'll be able to post tonight while the kids behave (heh) or after they've gone to sleep (but before I do, naturally, and that window seems to be shrinking these days).

Mine is six. And I just started him playing honest-to-gods published RPGs this weekend: A Faery's Tale. Nice little system -- pretty straightforward and streamlined and suitable for a smart kid, but it's got all the pieces of a more substantial game. And he loves fairies anyways, and is totally tickled to be playing one. (But of course he looked through the bestiary chapter, and decided he would gen a dragon character too. I think he takes after me.)

The bottom of my bookshelf is full of World of Darkness books, and Anna (the almost-four-year-old) loves to look through the Changeling core book. Once she learns some basic math, I'll definitely be cracking it open again (because what little girl doesn't want to pretend she's a fairy princess?).

Awww. Sidhe childlings ftw.
Myself I prefer pookah. I once played a pookah based on calvin and hobbes.
That was awesome.

Check out Faery's Tale -- here's a review www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/12/12352.phtml. (I should write a review myself.) And my son seems to want to pretend to be a fairy princess too... (Bard glances at Tllith.) We're a bit of an odd family, all 'round.

I've been negligent of the game lately, and for that I apologize. Between working retail this time of year, family obligations, and all the routine mayhem that comes with the holiday season, my employer filed for bankruptcy, and I may not have a job two weeks from now. To add to that, my previous employer just laid off 300 people, and the job market is over-saturated with desperate seekers of employment.
I don't mean to leave anyone hanging. I should be posting either tonight or tomorrow (and ending the combat, which has really slowed the game down), and we can get things back under way.
Again, apologies.

It's the holidays, hiccups are understandable =P Real life takes preference over the game anyway... get things together if you're having issues, THEN worry about saving Principality and whatnot. The Planes can always wait for you, as can we.

Yeek. Best of luck about job and everything. And no blame: real life always takes precedence, and it sounds like you've got a pile of it going on now..proboards.com

Wow. Sorry that took so long. On the upside, as the dust is starting to settle, it looks like I'll get to keep my job after all.
