A fiendish creature is one native to the Lower Planes, and somehow altered by the evil energies inherent to their environs. They become more sinister and fearsome in appearance than their more normal counterparts.
Level adjustment: +1 Alignment requirements: Always evil.
Special qualities:
Smite Good 1/day. The creature deals bonus damage equal to its hit dice to one opponent of good alignment. Darkvision, 60'. If the creature already has Darkvision, its range is extended by 60'. Spell Resistance. The creature gains Spell Resistance equal to 5+Hit Dice. If the creature has superior spell resistance due to another racial or class ability, it improves by two. Cold and Fire Resistance 5.
