Hadrian is a comely man of Aasimar stock, with a commanding voice and handsome features. He possesses a frame that although neither particularly lithe nor muscular is sublimely sturdy and nobly proportioned. Raven black locks frame a visage almost achingly beautiful to behold while lapis eyes gaze out from below a sorrow bent brow. His hands, calloused by the grain of his spear’s haft, are each marked on the flesh between the forefinger and thumb with a silhouetted raven picked out in tattoo.
Hadrian wears a simple garment of leather and cloth, cobbled from shades of black and grey that rival the Dustmen’s robes for warmth of character. The majority of his person is cloaked beneath a long black hooded friar’s robe, belted at the waste by a thick leather girdle. The strap is fixed with an ornamented steel buckle etched with three interlocking triangles. From the girdle hangs a knife sheath and a pair of belt pouches and behind it are tucked a pair of dark leather riding gloves. Beneath the hem of the robe, a pair of worn leather boots can be glimpsed, while atop his head, Hadrian wears a dark wide brimmed hat with his billowing hood cast back. Pinned high on his left breast is a silvered insignia denoting his allegiance to the Bleak Cabal.
Like many of the cannier visitors to the Cage who walk the streets in perpetual caution of stepping into the farthest reaches of the planes, Hadrian is rarely about without the bulk of his possessions. He bears an ancient leather pack and shoulders an elegant darkwood spear, steel shod at the butt and adorned with a pair of raven’s tail feathers below the meticulously honed point.
