What would you like to have happen to your character? (Note: these things are of a more thematic or emotional nature than simple plot. Examples might include "I want my character's faction beliefs to be challenged," "I want my character to become obsessed with a certain place or object," "I want my character to fall in love.")

Hmm.. As far as story hooks, I would like a few things for Vatndir.
First, as discussed before the first story arc, he would really like to learn the "secrets" of rivers. Where they come from, where they go, etc.
I would love to really have a chance to work with the Faction aspect, as I find that really interesting and unique to the setting.

As per our conversation, here are some story things that Vatndir would like to do:
Vatndir's the kind of adventurer who is mostly traveling because he believes that he needs to explore the multiverse to keep it running.
Therefore, he has the following additional goals:
1) To visit any plane with a river or mystical body of water and explore those bodies of water. He would definately like to be able to afford to hire adventurers to go on these missions. One such mission would be to Pandemonium. Another to the Beastlands.
2) Vatndir would like to master the art of creating water based magic items. To do so, he would like to search out, find and examine existing powerful magic items. He would like to cross reference this goal with the river goal, and combine the searches.
3) Vatndir would like to meet Loki
4) Vatndir would like to help Wraith find her child.
5) Vatndir wants to go up inthe Signer ranks, and wants to explore the advancement with the prediction we previously discussed.

Fianna42 (9:28:24 PM): Find Ysgardian Friend X (some NPC). Take him to the Hall of Speakers. Tell him in front of high-ups that he'll receive three burning yule logs on the same day.
Onirazael (9:28:29 PM): As long as it doesn't result in my character being helplessly cripped for long periods of time or permanently removed from the game.
Fianna42 (9:28:37 PM): Go to Ysgard to receive said items.
Onirazael (9:28:40 PM): Ok.
Onirazael (9:29:06 PM): Want me to make up the friend?
Onirazael (9:29:11 PM): Or did you have an NPC in mind.
Fianna42 (9:29:24 PM): Specifically, Ysgardian yule logs. And I have one in mind, I think.
Fianna42 (9:29:45 PM): I'll mull it over, we'll see if he really fits when I'm a little clearer-headed.
Fianna42 (9:30:05 PM): Anna's not sure if she wants to wake up, so I'm checking on her every thirty seconds. : P
Onirazael (9:30:20 PM): Ah, gotcha.
Onirazael (9:30:28 PM): I'm blessed with a child who sleeps the night.
Fianna42 (9:30:48 PM): The three yule log thing is the hook for the adventure -- I was gonna have it be someone else's prediction and have them hire you to make it work.
