If I where to use the Pacifist kit, that would only mean I abhor using physical weapons on other sentient beings right? Using physical and mental abilities to inflict harm or pain would be ok right?

Didn't hilathic brain some poor sod with a cobble stone for essentially no reason, all the while planning the deliberate capture and torture of a sentient being? I think the spirit of a pacifist is shall we say lacking in the young lad.

Technically I tripped him. And there are a lot definitions of pacifism. I thought it might be cool to never attack someone with a weapon, out of some higher moral obligation. Yet still see violence as a means to an ends. Because the details under the kit are only weapons specific, I thought maybe...

I don't have my books with me here, but I believe the pacifist can never injure another living, intelligent being by any means. He may hunt without penalty, and use magic to combat the undead.
